logitech-applet software package provides Logitech mouse tweaking utility, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install logitech-applet
logitech-applet is installed in your system.
Make ensure the logitech-applet package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep logitech-applet *
You will get with logitech-applet package name, version, architecture and description in a table
